What is personal information?

Can you guarantee the confidentiality of email traffic/the contact form?

If you choose to contact us by email or contact form, please be warned that we cannot guarantee the security of the information transmitted. The content of emails may be viewed by third parties. For this reason, we recommend that you only share confidential information with us by post.

When you send us an enquiry using the contact form, the content of your enquiry, including the contact details provided, is saved for processing and in case of subsequent questions. We will not disclose this information without your consent.

Are details of my visit recorded?

Each time a user accesses one of our pages and whenever a file is accessed, access data is recorded in a log on our server.

This information can only be linked to a person if you access our site directly from a personalised website. However, under no circumstances is this information disclosed to third parties, either in whole or in part.

Do you use cookies?

Piwik privacy policy

This website uses Piwik, an open-source software programme for the statistical analysis of user traffic. Piwik uses so-called 'cookies', text data which are saved on the user's computer and which enable the user's usage of the website to be analysed. The information created by the cookie regarding the use of our online presence is stored on the operator's servers, which are located in Germany. The IP address is anonymised as soon as they are processed and before they are saved. Users can prevent the saving of cookies by configuring their browser software's settings accordingly; in this case, however, the operator would like to advise users that they may not be able to use all of the functions of this website to their full extent.

Will this privacy policy be changed?

We may update our privacy policy if necessary, for example due to amendments to the German Federal Data Protection Act (Bundesdatenschutzgesetz, BDSG).
